Playstation Move
All the consoles are now in on what Wii kicked off - gesture based interaction. First was xbox natal and now here is Sony's offering - Playstation Move It's nice to see that the consoles are innovating with add-ons rather than getting us to fork out again for an entirely new platform. It'll be interesting to see where gaming ends up if you combine new ideas like Heavy Rain with new(ish) ways to interact... bring on the 3D TV too...

Nice interface design over on Sony site...
Simple design, similar to tilt viewer but using seperate pages floating around in space... I like the attention to detail of the shadow and highlight and the smooth motion...

An unsual and beautiful way of designing a sign up form
Davina found this unusual, simple sign up form and we thought we'd share it! We love it.

These are your users : read and be horrified!
I am not sure if this says more about Facebook users than it does about users generally, but it's interesting to see how (an apparently significant number of) users use google to access Facebook login, rather than the browser bar! Why don't they just bookmark? Then you hear that users don't always know the difference between google and browsers and it all starts to make some kind of crazy sense... I guess it underpins that we must never make assumptions about users.
Die Antwoord

Orignal raw band from South Africa taking the 'interwebs' by storm. Listen with some tongue in check.

Unifying the BBC website
An inspiring look at how - with enough effort and thought - a clunky, disparate legacy can be unified into a world class digital offering!

I am not a User
Nice point about the terminology we employ when we design for users. Something to think about!

Designer barcodes

I know this ideas has been around for a while, but I do think it's great fun and a nice way of getting people talking about your product. Maybe there's room for doing it to QR codes too.

U.N. Voices
Nice use of mobile phone and image recognition (better than QR codes in my opinion) in a print/poster campaign for the U.N..
